Back-end development is called server-side development. It focuses on databases, programming, and website architecture. Backend developers work closely with the front-end team to deliver the final product. About this course

This course involves rigorous teaching with hands-on with completion of at least 3 projects, inclusive of the terminal project.

In this course, you will learn the foundational skills necessary to create dynamic and robust web applications. As a back-end developer, you will be responsible for designing, write the codes and maintaining the server-side of web applications. This involves working with databases, APIs, server-side programming languages, and many more. Throughout the course, you will gain hands-on experience building and deploying applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

Pre-requisite

Beginners can take this course, but the following will be an added advantage

Knowledge of basic programming
Knowledge of HTM & CSS
Knowledge of database

On Completion

You will be able to:

Design and use a database and integrate this database with APIs and Applications.
Develop applications with ReactJs .
Develop APIs including database support and deploy these APIs to servers.
Handle and ensure accessibility and security compliance such as user authentication and access control for an application working at the back-end.
Make version control, such as Git.
